 How can you offer this service for free? What's the catch?​

  • There's really no catch. We offer this service much in the same way you offer to show a prospective client a property. You hope to earn their business as do we. We know that some of the roofs we inspect will need to be repaired, or replaced. Perhaps there's storm damage and the homeowner will need our assistance moving forward with an insurance claim. Perhaps there's a minor problem that needs repair. We'll fix it.


Reputation is everything in the real estate industry. How can I be sure about the quality of your work? 

  • Our customers are our best advertisement and we'll email you a link to our references. We keep a minimum of 50 references up at a time. Each reference will include a photo of the house, along with their names, addresses and phone numbers. Please call every one of them. Email your reference request to: info@proclaimroofing.com .

Should I be representing the buyer, or the seller, to utilize your services?​

  • Either. We will always need the homeowner's permission to inspect the roof, but homeowners are typically anxious to sell their properties and will do all things, within reason, to expedite the process.


What happens if you find storm damage?​

  • We would suggest the homeowner file a claim with their insurance company. If agreed, we would help the homeowner file the claim, meet with the insurance adjuster on their roof and negotiate an equatable settlement. We understand the urgency of an encroaching closing date and will move quickly to complete the roofing project once approved. 


What if the roof is just old and worn out, but has no storm damage?

  • Then it's simply up to the buyer, seller and the agent  to decide what to do. Should that decision involve a roof replacement, we're here to help.


What if there's nothing wrong with the roof?

  • Yipee!!! Hopefully the rest of the property is in the same condition and you can move forward with the closing without any unexpected glitches. 


How much upfront payment do you need to do the work?

  • No money is due until the roof is complete.
